Girls’ Golf Competes at White Hawk

The girls’ golf team competed at White Hawk Golf Course on Wednesday, Aug. 5th.  Sophia Sanchez shot a 107, Hope Walkowiak shot a 126 and freshman Gia DeProsperis a 144.  Good luck to the girls as they continue their season again on Monday, Aug. 10th at Sandy Pines Golf Course.

HC Trap Announcement

Sports are back and with that Hanover Central School District has approved HC Trap to participate in our fall season.  The fall season for HC Trap will begin on September 23rd and end November 7th.  All participating student athletes will need to register online between Monday August 3rd- Monday September 14th.  Practice and competition days

Boys Basketball Honored at Town Council Meeting

The Hanover Central 2019-2020 boys’ basketball team was honored last night at the Cedar Lake Town Council meeting.  They received a proclamation which goes into public record that recognized their team’s tremendous championship season.  They were recognized for the following accomplishments: 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 Sectional Winners (Back to Back) (1st time in program history) 2019-2020

Athletics to continue in Phase 1

Hanover Central High School has decided to stay in Phase 1 of the IHSAA plan to ready athletics for the Fall season.  We are doing well at Phase 1 with only a few athletes quarantined due to secondary exposure.  To date, there have not been any positive tests among our athletes.  We continue our safety
