The IHSAA is dedicated to promoting good sportsmanship among the members of our school community – administrators, coaches, parents, fans, the student body and, of course, our school’s student-athletes. 8th grader Molly Miller was awarded a sportsmanship pin last Friday during the Middle School basketball recognition night. Molly was recognized by her coaches, teammates, and athletic department for exemplary sportsmanship. Molly’s entire athletic career has comprised of being a team player, hard work, dedication, and demonstrating behaviors and attitudes that reflect good sportsmanship. Most recently, Molly offered to give up her uniform and number to a sixth grader to ensure that a sixth grade athlete had a uniform that fit her better. We appreciate athletes looking out for their teammates and especially our younger athletes. Thank you Molly for being such a good teammate, and keep up the good work.
