On Tuesday night the Hanover Central Boys Varsity Cross Country got to celebrate senior night and the senior’s last race at their home course, The Monastery. The two senior who got recognized were Alex Arce and Kyle Thibideau. Shortly after getting recognized they got the privilege to run their last race at The Monastery.
For the two seniors last race at The Monastery Arce and Thibideau made it a good one. The boys cross country team won the meet over Rensselaer Central and Merrillville High School. Senior Alex Arce won the meet in his last race at the monastery, and close behind Arce was junior Bryce Noble. Arce and Noble lead the team as they placed 1st and 2nd in 17:09 for Arce and 17:10 for Noble. The other Hanover runners were sophomore Ryan York in 4th, senior Kyle Thibideau in 6th, sophomore Christian Dahn in 7th, freshman Danny Kartz in 9th, junior Charlie Watson in 11th, and sophomore John Rich in 18th.
