Girls Varsity Cross Country · Senior Spotlight: Chloe DeBoer

Recently I got the opportunity to interview senior Chloe DeBoer. I asked questions regarding her introduction to cross country, and what she plans to do in the future.

Question: How long have you been doing cross country?

Answer: I have been running cross country since middle school. However, I stopped running my junior year and I have been the team manager since then.

Question: What got you into cross country?

Answer: I was told I had a good running form so my mom made me try out and I have loved it since.

Question: What is your personal best? What event is it in?

Answer: My personal best was my sophomore year of 22:10 at the Rensselaer course.

Question: What is your goal at the moment?

Answer:  My goal at the moment is for both the girls and boys to make it to semi state as a full team, not just individual runners.

Question: What are your plans for after high school?

Answer: After high school I plan to go to Purdue University in West Lafayette and major in Animal Behavior.

Thank you Chloe for all your hard work for cross country!
