This week’s Senior Spotlight is all about Varsity Volleyball Captain Peyton Frost. Frost has been playing volleyball since she was a little girl in fifth grade and has played for Hanover’s Varsity team since her freshmen year.
Now let’s hear what Peyton Frost has to say:
Q: What made you want to play volleyball?
A: My mom played volleyball in high school and I thought it would be fun.
Q: What are your future plans with volleyball?
A: I plan on playing in college, and I also plan on continuing after college in some sort of league just because I love to play.
Q: How long have you been playing volleyball?
A: I’ve been playing volleyball since 5th grade.
Q: Are you involved with anything else besides volleyball?
A: I am involved in Deca, which is the marketing club, and show choir.
Q: What is your favorite memory?
A: My favorite moment this year is beating Bishop Noll because that was the game that really decided if we could become conference champions or not.
Q: What is your funniest memory?
A: There definitely isn’t just one moment I can pick. Every practice there is something that we are laughing about.
Q: Do you have a pregame ritual?
A: My pregame ritual is to listen to a hype playlist and to get excited to play whoever we are playing that day.
Q: What will you miss most about high school?
A: I will definitely miss the bus rides and all the moments with the team before matches.
Q: Do you have any good luck charms?
A: My good luck charm is my Lululemon headband. I always have to wear it otherwise I just feel off my game.
Q: Who is your biggest rival in volleyball?
A: Our biggest rival is Bishop Noll and thankfully this year we beat them!
