The boy’s track team placed 2nd in the GSSC meet last night at Wheeler. Tyler Mason was a double winner in the 110 and 300 hurdles and placed 2nd in long jump and the 1600 relay. Seniors James Maciejewski and Jacob Weinke won the 400 and shot put respectively. Both of their efforts were personal bests. Senior August Steininger placed 2nd in discus in a personal best effort. Nick Taborski placed 1st in pole vault on Monday. The other members of the 2nd place 1600 relay team are James Maciejewski, Brett Driscoll, and Luke Maurer. 3rd places were Brett Driscoll in the 100, Jacob Weinke in discus, and Max Warchol in pole vault. Good performances were turned in by Luke Maurer in long jump, Dominic Amadio in the 300 hurdles, Kameron Ludwig in the 110 hurdles, Eric Hasse in the 1600, August Steininger in shot put, and James Maciejewski in high jump and the 200.
