After a week off, the Lady Wildcats resumed right where they left off with 2 great defensive A and B game wins.

In the A game, Hanover prevailed 17-6 in a physical game. Sienna Stilley led the way in double figures with 11 points. Also scoring was Sophia Simmons with 2 points, Emma Mueller with 2 points and Gaby Brody with 2 points. Offensively, good passing was led by Nadia Paun, Lilly McDonnell, Emma Mueller and Sienna Stilley and resulted in a number of scores. Playing great defense was Brooklyn Oostman and Zoe Serenas with Nadia Paun and Zoe Serenas getting multiple blocked shots.

In the B game, Hanover won 18-8 as 6 girls played 4 quarters of tenacious defense only allowing Crown Point Christian 4 baskets. Offensively, Nora Prim led the way with 8 points, followed by Claire Edgerton with 6 points, Raigan Orsini with 2 points and Angilina Arvia with 2 points. Defensive standouts included Audrey Zuzich, Katelynn Elder and Claire Edgerton.

The Lady Wildcats next play an away game Thursday at Lake Station Middle School.
