Hanover made the long trip to KV on Monday afternoon, after a long weekend of basketball for most girls. The game was a bit sluggish, but the Lady Wildcats found a way to dig deep and pull out a victory. Natalie Eckart was again a staple on the defensive end. Scoring was provided by: Abbie Casten and Sienna Antkiewicz with 6 points; Bridget Noel with 5 points; Lexi Smith with 4 points, and Dani Brink and Ava Vanderhye with 2 points.

In the second game (B-game), HC was once again victorious, winning by a score of 21-14. A defensive surge in the second half helped propel the team to victory. Providing offense was Shea Garringer with 6 points; Elle Mowry and Aubrey Flood with 4 points; Dani Brink with 3 points; and Anna Primm with 2 points. Playing good team defense was Malia Barrett and Lauren Hernandez. Unselfishly running the offense from the point guard position was Leah Hernandez.

The girls next play Wednesday, at home, again St. Mary’s Crown Point. This will be their last game of the season.
