The Lady Wildcats took down the Panthers in Griffith in three quck sets. The newly minted member of the GSSC was welcomed to the conference with the gift of 10 thunderous kills from both Sarah Spangler and Peyton Frost. The Lady Wildcats threw in 26 aces just to be nice. The ‘Cats are now 18-2 and 4-0 in the GSSC.

Notes: Tonight marks the 7th time this season the ‘Cats have had more than 20 aces in a match (26)…their season high was 35 aces vs. Gavit. The Lady Wildcats collected 436 aces last season (12.5/match) and are on pace for an astonishing 560 aces this season. Sarah Spangler continues in the team lead with 74 aces but Ashlie Albrecht and Peyton Frost are nipping at her heels with 73 aces each.

The Lady Wildcats have a much needed break until they return to action on 9/20 at home against Hobart. The Hobart match will be our Dig Pink Night to support the Sideout Foundation. Come out in pink to support the Lady Wildcats and an excellent cause!
