The Lady Wildcats continued their winning ways with a 4 set victory over visiting conference foe Wheeler on Tuesday night. Freshman Peyton Frost slammed down a career high 12 kills to lead the ‘cats who extended their conference match winning streak to 17 matches. Peyton also added 3 aces, 2 block kills and 3 digs to the cause.

Notes: the 3rd set loss is the first set the Lady Wildcats have dropped since the 2nd set against Chesterton on 8/30. They had won 22 sets in a row. The regular season winning streak is now 16 matches. The team honored Junior Libero Jenna Voticke between the 2nd and 3rd set for reaching the 1,000 dig milestone at KV last week. Jenna was presented with a signed picture frame and a bedazzled volleyball to commerate her acheivement. Jenna is now 966 digs away from 2,000. 🙂

The team travels to Griffith tonight to play in a conference match against the Panthers. There is no C team match tonight, the JV match is scheduled to begin at 5pm with the Varsity match to follow.
