The cross-country teams traveled to Kankakee Valley Middle School on October 3rd for their last race before the conference meet. Lincoln Zerby ran away with the co-ed reserve race title. Rayna Rogers, Jacksen Coduti, Bennett Duffy, Braden Flood, Zak Gardner, Peyton Gettemans, John Nelson, Ryan Sandberg and Zander Veronie all ran personal best times.
The girls placed 3rd in the varsity race. Scarlett Nelson (4th), Shannon Nelson (9th), and Skylar Ferry (10th) finished in the top ten.
The boys placed 5 in the top ten with Danny Kartz (2nd), Brayden Kurczewski (3rd), Ashton Verbish (5th), Austin Miller (7th), and Kevin Arroyo (10th). The team scored just 27 points to earn the championship.
